Abdul Hye, President of BCA Cambridgeshire discussed the launch of a fundraising night for victims of Turkey-Syria Earthquake on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.

BCA Cambridgeshire member establishments came together after an emergency meeting of members was called on Friday 10th February and have unanimously agreed to hold a fundraising night at their respective establishments on Monday 27th February 2023 for the Turkey-Syria earthquake victims.

Participating restaurants and takeaways will donate 50% of their takings from food sales.

BCA Cambridgeshire will coordinate the fundraising night and collect funds from all participants and ensure it goes towards the relief efforts.

We urge the public to support the appeal and book a table or order a takeaway from participating restaurants on Monday 27th February.

A list of participating restaurants will be published soon on BCA Cambridgeshire Facebook page and website: bcacambridgeshire.org.uk

The devastating earthquakes have killed thousands of people in Turkey and Syria. Hundreds of buildings have been destroyed. Survivors are facing freezing conditions and need urgent aid. Please support our fundraising appeal.
